You have the option of selecting a deductible from $500 to $5,000. Choosing a lower deductible will increase your premium and vice versa, so choose the one that best fits your lifestyle. If you need to file a claim, think about what you can afford to pay.

A deductible is like a contribution you make towards your order. If you choose a lower deductible, your premium will be higher and vice versa.
If a deductible comes into play, you must pay your base deductible plus any applicable additional deductibles. You do not have to pay a deductible if the damage to your car was caused by another car and we do not believe you are at fault and we have all the necessary details from the other party.

Is someone who drives my car insured?expand_more expand_less
We insure licensed drivers and learner drivers as long as they are over the minimum age stated on their policy and meet learner license requirements.
Drivers with an international license are also covered, as long as the Department of Transportation for the state or territory in which they drive the car recognizes the international driver's license and the driver meets the license requirements.
What is Pay-As-You-Drive coverage?expand_more expand_less
Pay As You Drive coverage is comprehensive insurance for those who spend less time behind the wheel.
With the subscription, you can buy between 1,000 and 15,000 km per year, depending on how many kilometers you drive during the insurance period.
We will then ask for your initial mileage within 14 days of starting your policy. Your final mileage is the initial mileage plus the number of miles purchased.
Your insurance certificate shows:
- the initial mileage you provided us;
- the number of kilometers purchased; AND
- Your final mileage.
Don't worry, if you think you're going to drive more than the miles you purchased, you can request a mileage top-up during the period. Simply log into your auto insurance account to make the change. Keep in mind that we also need to adjust your premium. look at ourProduct Disclosure Statement (PDS)for more details.
If you need to file a claim and your mileage is less than the starting mileage or more than the ending mileage at the time of the claim, an additional $1,000 deductible will apply.
Be sure to let us know your initial mileage within 14 days of starting your policy. If you need to file a claim after that time and you do not provide us with your initial mileage, the additional $1,000 deductible will apply.
